In 1994, Thet Thet Khine together with her husband opened their first outlet Golden Palace Gold &Jewelleryand in 2000 the second store. Thet Thet Khine as Managing Director expanded their business and set up Jewel Collection Manufacturing Co. Ltd. in 2005 and United GP Development Co. Ltd. in 2014.

 

In 1994 Thet Thet Khine graduated with aM.B.B.S. degree from YangonInstitute of Medicine.  She continued her studies as she expanded her businesses.  In 2004,Thet Thet Khine obtained her MBA (General Management) from the Yangon Institute of Economics, Myanmar and in 2008 she received the MBA (Nanyang Fellows) from the Nanyang Fellows Program, Nanyang Business School, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.  She also is a graduate of IMP (MIT Sloan School of Management) and since 2012 a Ph.D. Candidate (Public Management & Leadership), Walden University of the United States.

 

Thet Thet Khine is an active and founding member of Infinite Myanmar Metta Foundation, providing mobile health support for rural areas in and around Myanmar.  As a Joint Secretary of the UMFCCI, Thet Thet Khine is a lecturer at the UMFCCI Training center and often travels abroad on the Chamber’s business.
