Dr. Chi-Yuan Lin is the Senior Advisor of Taipei Fubon Bank, Honorary Advisor of ARTDO International, President Emeritus of the Chinese Society for Training and Development (Taiwan), and Professor Emeritus in the Marshall School of Business, University of Southern California (USC). He received the 2004 ARTDO International Management and Human Resource Development Award, and served as President of the ARTDO International during 2001-2002. He also served as a Director on the Board of the IFTDO, 1996-2004.

Previously, Dr. Lin served as the Chairman of the Taipei Bank and Taipei Fubon Bank5 years, the Chairman of the Civil Service Protection and Training Commission (4 years) and the President of the National Sun Yat-sen University (9 years). Before returning to Taiwan, Dr. Lin was on the faculty of the USC School of Business for 20 years. In that capacity, Prof. Lin also serves as Director of the Doctoral Program, Department Chair and the University Faculty Senator. During part of that period, Dr. Lin also served as a legislator of the Republic of China representing overseas Chinese.

Mr. Lin received his M. S. and Ph. D. in management from MIT and was awarded a Ford Foundation Doctoral Fellowship and a Dissertation Fellowship.

Dr. Lin has published three books and many journal articles as well as presented numerous papers at academic and professional conferences.

Prof. Lin received the USC Award for Teaching Excellence and was named Outstanding Educator of America. He is listed in Dictionary of International Biography, International Scholars Directory, The International Who’s Who of Intellectuals, American Men and Women of Science, Who’s in America, and Who’s Who in the Republic of China.
