Carl Everett's career in Japan started in December of 1997 by performing due diligence services on non-performing real estate loan portfolios that were for sale by Japanese financial institutions. He traveled regularly to Tokyo throughout 1998 and moved to Tokyo full time in 1999 after joining Capital Services Group's loan servicing company in Japan, Capital Servicing Co., Ltd., as its Representative Director. At the time, Lehman Brothers was Capital's largest client and Capital assisted them beyond Japan and throughout Asia in managing and resolving Lehman's non-performing loan portfolios which they were actively acquiring in multiple Asian countries.

In 2007, Mr. Everett became the sole shareholder of Capital Services Group. Today as Capital Services Group's CEO, his responsibilities are overseeing and implementing Capital's annual and long term goals and strategies. Prior to Asia, beginning in 1989, Mr. Everett concentrated exclusively on the resolution of U.S. non-performing real estate loans. His loan work-out experience from 1989 to 1996 was with major money center U.S. banks. He managed a portfolio of large loans while overseeing non-performing real estate portfolio work-out teams of five to ten people. Portfolio collateral was located throughout the U.S. and exceeded USD 50 billion in principal balances. Carl Everett holds a BS from the University of Southern California and an MBA from Pepperdine University in Los Angeles.
